Browser-local DOCX checker
Why does my Word table split across pages?
Choose a DOCX to see which table rows carry explicit “cannot split,” page-break, keep-with-next or exact-height settings. Your document stays in this browser; this checker does not render Word pages or change the file.

What this can and cannot tell you
Cannot spliton a row can move that row to the next page if it does not fit; it cannot keep a row taller than a page whole.Keep with next,Page break before, a manual page break, a fixed row height or a wrapped table may affect pagination.- A missing direct flag is not proof that the setting is off: Word styles may inherit it. Fonts, margins and the Word version also matter.
- This is an XML diagnostic, not a rendered page preview, guaranteed repair or document editor.

Check a flagged row in Word
- Click in the reported row, right-click the table, open Table Properties → Row, and inspect its row-break and height settings.
- For a reported paragraph flag, click inside that cell and open Paragraph → Line and Page Breaks to inspect Keep with next, Keep lines together, and Page break before.
- Change only the setting you understand, save a copy, and check the actual pagination in your version of Word. The XML flags alone do not prove which setting caused a particular break.
